*It is recommended to clean your feeder weekly with a soft cloth or soft brush with soap and warm water to maintain the appearance of your feeder.  

*To further protect the appearance and to ensure maximum longevity of your item, I recommend applying Varathane's Ultimate Outdoor Spar Urethane Exterior Water Based Sealant to any part of your product exposed to the elements.  This will ensure the wood is protected from moisture and heat and will maintain the appearance of your product for its lifespan.  Please use the water-based version as this is safe for the birds.
